How to Join Troop 101

Joining Scouting America, Waterville Troop 101 is open to youth ages 11 to 17 who are interested in leadership, outdoor adventure, and community service. Prospective scouts and their parents are welcome to attend a troop meeting to learn more about our activities and values.

To begin the joining process, attend one of our weekly meetings—held on Monday evenings at the local community center. At the meeting, you’ll meet current scouts and leaders, get answers to your questions, and receive details about our upcoming events.

Once you decide to join, you will complete a membership application and review the Scout Law and Oath. Parents will be provided with resources and information about uniforms, dues, and upcoming activities to help their scout get started.
